Royal Mail Deliveries

Now I know we've had a bit of snow, about 2 weeks ago which caused big problems. However, I ordered play.com items and they were dispatched 12 days ago and half still haven't arrived! And there is also a similar problem with the Amazon order that was dispatched a week ago.

I know they say to expect maybe an extra day or two on top of normal delivery times, but this is totally ridiculous. Come on Royal Mail, just get your act together and give me my damn packages.

[UPDATE] My parcels have just arrived, 19 days after the first was posted. Amazon seem to be on the case of delayed deliveries as they sent me an email saying they are working with Royal Mail to ensure all deliveries that were promised for christmas, will be there.
